शिक्षा व व्यवसाय: मैकेनिकल इंजीनियर; रक्षा मंत्रालय (आयुध निर्माणी) में क्लास-वन राजपत्रित अधिकारी के पद से सेवानिवृत्त। वर्तमान में देहरादून में स्वतंत्र लेखन एवं स्व-पब्लिशिंग सेवाओं में संलग्न।
कृतियाँ: एक ग़ज़ल संग्रह तथा तीन अन्य प्रकाशित पुस्तकें।
संपृक्ति: विभिन्न साहित्यिक मंचों पर सक्रिय; अनेक ग़ज़लें प्रकाशित, पुरस्कृत और सम्मानित।

About Author - Yogeshwar Kumar Gaur
Born on 6 October 1940 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, the author served as a Class I Gazetted Officer in the Defence Ministry (Department of Ordnance Production) after completing his Mechanical Engineering. Now retired, he resides in Dehradun, fully devoted to independent writing.
He has authored one Ghazal collection and three other books on diverse subjects. He remains active on various literary platforms, with many of his ghazals published and honored for his contributions to Hindi literature.
World Record Achievement
Yogeshwar Kumar Gaur, a distinguished Hindi poet and author, has been honoured with a World Record Certificate for his unique contribution to Ghazal literature.
The record, registered under the title “Writing a Puzzle in Ghazal”, recognises his creative innovation in poetic composition. This achievement marks him as the first writer to craft this special literary form.
